POWERSCAN™ 9600 DPX SERIES – QR Code Scanner
Datalogic is pleased to announce the availability of the new PowerScan 9600 DPX series, the new industrial handheld series of barcode scanner for traceability of DPM and label-based codes, targeting mainly
traceability applications in Automotive, Aerospace, Tires and Electronics but used also in Healthcare for medical device tracking in hospitals.
The PowerScan 9600 DPX series will address traceability in manufacturing while providing the following benefits:
- Capability to decode any kind of barcode directly marked on metals, plastics, glass, PCB, and electronic components with all the most common DPM technologies such as laser etching, dot peening, inkjet printing and electrochemical etching
- Ultra-reliable device to resist the harshest environments of Shop Floor operations
- Extreme flexibility and modularity, with embedded and modular Fieldbus support, for the largest application coverage and future-proof asset management
- A secure radio communication and error-free operations providing real-time feedback to the operator
- The ability to monitor battery status and scanner health to allow predictive maintenance
The new series will be available in a full suite of products to provide the best solution for different necessities:
- Corded desk models (PD9600 DPX)
- Cordless models with Datalogic’s STAR 433 MHz Cordless System™ 2.0 proprietary radio and keypad/display (PM9600-D DPX)
- Cordless Bluetooth® 5.0 models (PBT9600 DPX)
The PowerScan 9600 series embeds Datalogic’s Wireless Charging System, based on inductive charging technology, making the PowerScan 9600 DPX the most reliable device to withstand tough environments such as shop floors.
The plug-and-play architecture for the device interface of the PowerScan 9600 family makes it easily configurable between Serial, USB, Ethernet, EtherNet/IP or PROFINET, while protecting the customer’s investment in the event of future changes to the communication setup.
